What is OURCal?
OURCal is a multiuser calendar system for fairly large organizations

Is anyone currently using OURCal?
An early version of OURCal is in action at The University of North Dakota

Can I use OURCal?
The short answer is, no. The version that UND currently uses (or at least, used as of 31 July 2000) suffers from numerous problems, mostly in the area of administration. Hopefully, I'll have a usable release ready in the near future

Ok, but if I did want to use OURCal, what would I need?
You'd need a machine with a webserver and has Perl 5 or greater with the CGI and DBI modules installed. You would also need a database that has a compatible DBI driver (most do).

When will a usable version of this program be ready?
Whenever I get it ready.

Can I help with OURCal?
If you want to help write OURCal, or just poke at the source, head over to the Sourceforge Page for the project. There you can download the most recent version from the CVS archive. If you have anything to contribute, please let me know

When is OURCal going to be released?
Not too much longer. I'm porting the project to PHP at the moment, as it's a bit faster for me to work with than Perl. A beta version should be available by the new year, but don't hold your breath.
